FAIRFIELD LAKE FISH KILL 2010
2008 and 2009, but the one this
year, was much larger and came
earlier in the year. Estimated
loss 1,255,674 mostly thread
fin shad gizzard shad and tilapia.
Smaller quantities of game fish
such as, red drum, large mouthed
bass, and catfish.
Even though this happened in
late Aug. newspaper stories
didn't come out until the middle
of Sept. There is a power plant on
this lake, can be seen in picture,
does this contribute to oxygen
loss? Is this really normal?
